Walk-In Sessions for Allergy Injections!

Patients may walk-in anytime between 1:45 pm and 6:45 pm on Mondays in our Blue Bell office for their allergy injections. No appointment necessary.

Tips to Help You Navigate the Allergy Injection Walk-In Session

ALWAYS bring your extract scan card.

1. This assures your safety. Your personalized bar coded scan card only allows your bar coded extract to be administered.

2. Scanning your card puts you in the queue for your allergy shot and lets the injection nurse know you are waiting. Your injection may be delayed without your card.

3. ALWAYS check in at the front desk at every visit to pay your co-pay, confirm your insurance coverage, and/or verify referral status. Not doing this could delay your next injection visit.

4. Provide an e-mail and cell phone number at the front desk so we can notify you of any Walk-In Session cancelations.

Food and Skin Allergies are More Prevalent than Ever Before

Today, many more youngsters are being diagnosed with allergies, particularly food allergies to items such as nuts, eggs, and shellfish, than ever before. In fact, a study recently released by the CDC revealed that in just over a decade, the prevalence of allergies has increased from 3.4 to 5.1 percent. Allergies can take a toll on a child’s wellbeing and interfere with academic productivity.

Fortunately, allergy treatments such as immunotherapy can help. For more information on the alarming upward trend in allergies, watch this video. You’ll learn about additional allergy triggers and the possible link between cleaner homes and immune system reactions.

If you or your child suffers from allergies or asthma, schedule an appointment with Allergy & Asthma Specialists in King of Prussia. Please call us at 1-800-86COUGH and ask us about our personalized treatment plans, which can include immunotherapy.
